On June 12, 2004 Members and friends of our camp all gathered at Central Independent Baptist Church and built a storage closet in the fellowship hall. The Lowry Rifles Camp paid tribute to our Confederate Ancestors with a Memorial Service held at the Brandon Cemetery. Our Camp's namesake, Robert Lowry, Brigadier General CSA and later Governor of Mississippi is buried here. |
