Governor Haley Barbour's
Inaugural Parade

The SCV  was well represented in the new Governor's Parade. Members of our Camp marched as Confederate Soldiers, marched in civilian clothes and rode on the float.  We were cheered on by the throngs that had gathered to watch the show.  We appreciate the Governor for allowing us to be part of his celebration. And a big Thanks to all our camp members that took time off from their jobs to be on hand for the parade!!

Camp Members traveled to Carthage, Ms. to put on a "Living History" for the local Genealogical Society.

This is just another way we can help teach the public about our Ancestors and help promote good will in communities toward our Southern Heritage.

Member Visitation

Member Visit

Not all of our members are still able to come to meetings. Adjutant Bill Hinson pays a visit to Normand Tyler Bonifay to let him know that the Sons of Confederate Veterans care about all of our members. More of us should follow this example.
